Bandaloop Music is a culmination of a love of music and years of experience in the music business.
Founded in 1998, Bandaloop Records was born out of a desire to connect and develop emerging local artists. Its founder, Bill Hutchison, has an ear for the subtle lyrical turn and an entrancing melody, and an appreciation of the earnestness of artists trying to make a living doing what they love.
Bandaloop Records originally focused its efforts on local esoteric and hard-to-categorize talent in Ohio and Pennsylvania, putting out a number of records in genres ranging from roots rock, progressive rock, alt pop and straight out heavy metal.
On hiatus to focus on his family for a time, Bill later reignited his passion for the business of music and artist development with Hutchison Management in 2012. Bill mentors younger artists new to the music business and supports established artists who want to keep making the music that they love.
Enter Bandaloop Music. With the 2020 reboot of Bandaloop Records, Bandaloop Music is a welcome home for established artists who continue to record and tour frequently. We sign and develop exciting new artists, providing them with the tools and resources they need to have long and successful careers.
